The School at Embark

Embark, the school, is a micro middle school in North Denver embedded in a small business –Pinwheel Coffee. Embark supports students to courageously inquire, engage, and discover a sense of self in an environment that is learner-centered, integrated, and embedded.

Adult Learning

Iterative is where learner-centered educators come to humbly learn and share; to gather together for our own learning; to support; to build community; and to continue iterating on our journeys. Curated learner-centered experiences foster individual and shared learning to create more learner-centered environments for youth and adults. Iterative experiences come in all shapes and sizes, from our flagship residency to three-day immersive experiences.

Enterprises

Pinwheel Coffee is a small business in Denver rethinking the intersection of community, business and learning. “The Shop” is also a real-world learning space for Embark, the school. While Pinwheel is fiercely committed to their quality and craft in serving the community, they are also deepening their connection to youth and learning.
